Advertise in BJA’s quarterly member newsletter

Reach a targeted jazz market by advertising in the BJA Newsletter. Limited space. Reserve early.

AD PLACEMENT RATES AND SIZES:

  • $15 for 1/8 page (3 5⁄8 in. wide x 2 1⁄4 in. high)
  • $30 for 1/4 page (3 5⁄8 in. wide x 4 3⁄4 in. high)
  • $60 for 1/2 page (7 1⁄2 in. wide x 4 3⁄4 in. high) horizontal ad
  • $60 for 1/2 page (3 5⁄8 in. wide x 9 3⁄4 in. high) vertical ad
  • $120 for full page (7 1⁄2 in. wide x 9 3⁄4 in. high)

Deadline for ads and payments:

Ad copy is due 30 days prior to the appearance of your ad. Invoices are payable upon receipt.

Note that there is LIMITED SPACE in each newsletter, so reserve your ad space EARLY. To reserve, and for detailed specs on date, ad format, and delivery, please email the editor at jazzpalette@gmail.com.

BJA reserves the right to reject inappropriate copy.

Digital Advertising

We also off digital advertising – on our web site, including calendar pages, and on our weekly email events mailer. Digital ad rates are as follow:

Website

  • Content top small (just under title on each page*): 800 x 200 pixels – $10 per month (may rotate with other ads)
  • Content top large (just under title on each page*): 800 x 400 pixels – $20 per month(may rotate with other ads)
  • Page right small (above the mini calendar in all pages that have a sidebar): 310 x 155 pixels – $5 per month (may rotate with other ads)
  • Page right large (above the mini calendar in all pages that have a sidebar): 310 x 310 pixels – $10 per month (may rotate with other ads)
  • Page right lower (just under the mini calendar in all pages that have a sidebar): 310 x (up to) 310 pixels – $5 per month (may rotate with other ads)

* does not appear on home page, due to layout constraints

Email

  • Top (just above the actual calendar listings): 800-950 pixels wide – $5 per inch (defined as 200 pixels) per week, maximum 4 inches.
  • Bottom (under the event listings and disclaimers): 800-950 pixels wide – $2.50 per inch
