Jazz is a continuum. Values are shared from one generation to the next. On May 1, 2021, Cyntje’s Continuum will welcome four gifted musicians to the community. Come listen to this inter-generational ensemble explore Blues, Bebop, and Beyond.

Recording artist Reginald Cyntje (born in Roseau Dominica, raised on St. Thomas, USVI) is an award-winning professional musician, composer, producer, and educator. He’s performed with such luminaries as Amiri Baraka, Illinois Jacquet, Jason Moran, Nicholas Payton, Vanessa Rubin, Terrell Stafford, Tim Warfield, and many other extraordinary artists. To date, he’s recorded six albums as a leader. Cyntje, the educator, is the Director of Jazz Studies at Duke Ellington School of the Arts and a professor of music at Montgomery College. He has toured the US, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.
