Janet Paulsen has been singing her whole life. Classically trained, she performed professionally with many opera companies in the Midwest and New England area. During the pandemic Janet began a new signing journey in jazz. Exploring songs from the Great American Songbook, Jazz Standards, and Pop she delivers a variety of style and color in her vocals.

Janet performs in the “DMV” area with many great instrumentalists and singers. Some of the artists Janet has recently worked with include Wayne Wilentz, Jeff Reed, Maija Reijamn, Darcy Cooke, Rob Patrick, David Jernigan, Harry Appleman, and others. This fall Janet is excited to embark on a recording project.
