An Die Jazz Jam feat. Mike Cemprola

Award-winning saxophonist Mike Cemprola has been a busy member of the East coast jazz scene since arriving in 2002. The newest member of the U.S. Air Force's acclaimed Airmen of Note, Cemprola has performed and recorded with The Mike Cemprola Quartet, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Norman David and the Eleventet, the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, Dan Monaghan’s Quartet, the co-led quartet Gunshow, and a host of other creative ensembles. Mike attended the University of the Arts (Philadelphia) from 2002-2007, earning a BM and MM in music. He currently lives in Washington, DC.

Audience members are invited for a first-hand look into Baltimore’s thriving jazz scene at this bi-monthly session. The convergence of many of the area’s talented jazz musicians in this intimate listening room sparks fresh and creative sounds. Join us for an evening of unpredictable, imaginative, and electrifying jazz, brought to you by some of the city’s finest players! Oh, and bring your horn!
