Summer Music Moves: Cyrus Chestnut, Maysa, and many more

Highlighting and showcasing jazz and dance in Baltimore, Summer Music Moves: A Jazz and Dance Festival is set for Thursday –Sunday, July 25 –28, 2019. The festival will present jazz and dance performances in a variety of venues and formats offering choices for audiences to experience, appreciate and enjoy. Events at Baltimore Center Stage start the weekend with other venues in Mount Vernon, Station North Arts District and downtown joining in. Summer Music Moves: A Jazz and Dance Festival is a co-presentation of the Baltimore Jazz Alliance and Dance Baltimore.

6 - 7pm - VIP Reception
Baltimore Center Stage, 700 North Calvert Street
A VIP reception just prior to the concert offers private time with the night's performing artists and includes photos, autographs and a swag bag will special gifts including a limited edition poster by Larry "Poncho" Brown. Concert and Reception, $65.00.

7 - 9:30pm - Main Concert/Pearlstone Theatre
Baltimore's best in jazz and dance in an evening performance featuring Broadway performer and Tap sensation Ryan K. Johnson, the Baltimore Jazz All Stars (Alan Blackman, Corinthia Cromwell, Carl Filipiak, Todd Marcus, Blake Meister, Robert Shahid, Clarence Ward, III, and Warren Wolf); Dance Baltimore Repertory Ensemble, Full Circle Dance Company and Natya Kala Mandir East Indian Dance. Special guests performances by international jazz artists Cyrus Chestnut and Maysa, performing separately, and, together, for the first time. (Concert Only, $45.00)
