Members of “Jazz for Kids,” a program of the Baltimore Jazz Alliance, appeared at Bay-Brook Elementary/Middle School in South Baltimore (Brooklyn) on February 28th. The Baltimore Jazz Alliance (BJA) ended the first of collaborations with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) after the Sunday Matinee performance of ‘Lush Life: Ellington and Strayhorn” on November 24th.  The association began when Cait Grose, Associate Director of Patron Experience for the BSO, contacted me in mid-October with an offer for a partnership with the BJA.  | Read more>> Read More

It was a convivial gathering of music, dancing, food, drink and friendship at the second annual Baltimore Jazz Alliance Gala fundraiser on November 16, 2024.
