SIGN UP BY MARCH 17 TO PERFORM AT ARTSCAPE

With snow piled up everywhere, it’s hard to imagine that steamy July will ever come. But planning starts early for Artscape, July 18-20. If you have never been booked for Artscape and want to perform, applications may be submitted online up to 4pm, March 17th, with a $15 fee, and you must audition at “Sound Off Live!” April 10 or 11 at Metro Gallery. Each band is allotted 15 minutes and three songs. Bands are competing for one of Artscape’s limited time slots, a $300 performance honorarium (for Artscape) and a listing in the Artscape Entertainment Resource Guide. At least 90% of the tunes played must be originals. A majority of the band’s members (at least 60%) must reside in any of the following locations: Baltimore City, one of Maryland’s 24 counties, the Delmarva Region or Washington D.C.
